Every week, the Manga Villagers will go through the new releases for the week and pick out the titles they are most looking forward to reading. Whether it’s buying or just window shopping, check out what we’re looking at every week!

Week Ending 12/07/2012

Alex: Viz’s big manga dump is this week, which means new volumes of ArataBakuman, and Natsume’s Book of Friends are out this week. Yen Press also has a large selection of comics this week, including the third volume of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica manga adaptation. I’m a big fan of some of JManga’s recent releases, including Sweet Blue Flowers, Vol. 1 and Takako Shimura’s The Devil is So Cute Vol. 1. So… December, in addition to the holidays, is really putting a strain on my wallet! ^_^

Amy: This week I’m stoked for the next volume of A Devil and Her Love Song to be released. Originally I began reading this series via Viz’s manga app, now finally on Kindle Fire! Though my shelf space for physical manga is always at a premium I’m looking forward to collecting and reading this series for the rest of 2012 and into the new year.

Lori: It’s a shonen/shojo week for Viz, so that means a whole lot of titles to lighten the wallet. Bakuman continues it’s monthly march to finish up with volume 17, and the shojo just piles on with The Earl and the Fairy vol. 4, Natsume’s Book of Friends vol 13 and A Devil and Her Love Song vol 6. Viz also premieres a new title, Demon Love Spell, which features more supernatural romance hijinks. Over at Jmanga, there are new volumes of Edo Nekoe Jubei Otogizoshi and Crazy For You, as well as a side story for the old Tokyopop title The Good Witch of the West, which Jmanga is also continuing.
